Just recently seen the notice of the passing of my old schoolmate Nick.
I remain extremely saddened to read this as I always hoped we might meet up again one day. I have so many fond memories of my time at St.Birinus in 3A, after I went up from 3B, 4A and 5A, as well as out of school, spent with Nick especially.
Surprisingly only just over two years, Easter 1963 to the end of Summer Term 1965, but so influential at an important stage of a teenagers life.
Thank you Nick for the Beatles, Mad magazine, cycling and going to the Waterwitch for my first ever pint, but most of all your company and sense of humour.
