The Prime Minister and Witney MP met staff at iWantGreatCare last month to talk about the progress being made nationally to improve patient experience in care facilities.

Founder and chief executive Dr Neil Bacon said: “It was super to see the Prime Minister’s interest in, and detailed understanding of, the incredible power of transparent patient experience to drive quality across the NHS.

“The team was impressed by his personal interest in the unique way in which iWantGreatCare enables patients across the UK to rate and review their GPs, surgeons, doctors, hospitals and dentists, and the way by which this helps everyone get better care.”

More than one million patients have reviewed and rated care they’ve received on the company’s website.

It works closely with hospitals, GP practices and dental practices to monitor safety and quality across the sector.

Meanwhile, the company has launched a review for wheelchair services and will donate 5p to disabled children’s charity Whizz-Kidz for every review posted online.
