The Oxfordshire Health and Racquets Club off Woodstock Road, Oxford has been sold again.
It is among five Virgin Active clubs to be sold by property investment firm British Land which bought 17 of the facilities for £179m from Societe Generale last July.
The clubs which are also in Gloucester, Neath, Manchester, Oxford and Poole were sold for a total of £33m to three institutional buyers. The buyer of the Oxford club, originally opened by Esporta in the grounds of St Edward’s School in 2000, has declined to be named.
