A firm helping to tackle global terrorism has completed its expansion into new offices.

Hazard Management Solutions (HMS) has uprooted from Faringdon to new premises on the Shrivenham Hundred Business Park.

Fifty-five people work for the organisation - a figure which has more than doubled in a year - with six new jobs created recently.

HMS works with the Government, military, police and commercial organisations to cut the risks posed by terrorists by offering risk assessment, advice and training. It also operates the Triton database of global terrorist activity.

Managing director Roger Davies said: "The new facilities reflect our positive development as a company.

"We needed more space in which to incorporate our expanding team as well as a place to meet the increasing demands on our products and services.

"The end result is that we have a greatly improved working environment for our staff, and given ourselves the perfect platform to expand the business further."

Wantage MP Ed Vaizey, who performed the opening ceremony, said: "It is fantastic to be able to welcome a globally recognised expanding organisation to the region."
