Tackling skills shortage The boss of an expanding Oxfordshire recruitment consultancy has promised to help tackle the county's skills shortage.
The Susan Hamilton Group has opened a new office at Milton Park, near Didcot, with the aim of matching candidates with the best possible job opportunities.
Chairman Susan Hamilton said: "With the third lowest unemployment rate in Europe, Oxfordshire has a tight labour market, which can make recruitment a real challenge for employers.
"We operate as an integral part of a client's human resources team, which minimises the job-seeking burden, while allowing clients to focus on their core business. This means companies don't have to do anything except interview a final shortlist of candidates that fit their criteria."
The business is no stranger to the county, with Susan Hamilton Commercial operating in Oxford for more than 30 years, with an office in Market Street.
The company specialises in the commercial, legal, publishing and media, Parliamentary and not-for-profit sectors.
The new office will offer a range of services tailored to meeting the needs of individual clients, including assessment centres, free advertising, search and selection, as well as standard interviews, CV searches and skill assessments.
