Workers looking for jobs in the motor industry are being offered career counselling sessions.
Ardington-based automotive recruitment consultancy, Southgate Consulting, is offering professional advice to help job seekers in their approach to potential employers.
The meetings are are designed to help individuals gain confidence, plan their future career and ensure their personal and professional skills are maximised.
Meetings are tailored to the individual’s needs, but include a full review and re-write of their CV, a goal setting exercise, coaching on interview techniques, a personality profile and a detailed action plan.
Senior consultant Julia Pennington said: "In the current tough economic climate there is increasing competition for the most desirable vacancies.
"It is becoming more and more crucial that candidates are properly prepared before applying for jobs.
"Many individuals are now coming onto the job market who are unfamiliar with modern interview techniques.
"A career counselling meeting will ensure that you give yourself the best possible chance of success."
