People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts around the county recently:

Nesawor Miah, 39, of Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting clothing worth £33 from Next in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on August 21. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Ben Nennstiel, 18, of White Horse Crescent, Grove, admitted possession of seven bags of cannabis in Wantage on October 6. Fined £110 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Alan Richens, 24, of Crabtree Lane, Drayton, admitted possession of cannabis in Crabtree Lane, Drayton, on July 20. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Cameron Morris, 20, of Edinburgh Drive, Didcot, admitted possession of cannabis in Didcot on October 6. Fined £325, £32 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Craig Westland, 20, of Stockey End, Abingdon, admitted possession of cocaine and cannabis at Abingdon Police Station on October 6. Fined £183, £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Edward Chand, 45, of Garsington Road, Oxford, convicted of driving while unfit through drink in High Street, Oxford, on May 27. Also convicted of failing to stop after a road accident in High Street, Oxford, on May 27. Told to do 150 hours of unpaid work in a year, banned from driving for 40 months, and told to pay £150 costs.

Andrew Harris, 31, of Lenthall Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting food worth £118.28 from Midcounties Cooperative in London Road, Headington, Oxford, on October 8. Given a two-year conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Tamas Molner, 30, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted drink-driving in Binsey Lane, Oxford, on April 14. Had 133 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 micrograms. Fined £224, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Simon Sarbon, 38, of Phipps Road, Cowley, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Phipps Road, Oxford, on September 5. Told to do 80 hours of unpaid community work in the next year and to pay £85 costs.

Michal Markieqicz, 35, of Barwell, Wantage, admitted harassment in Broad Street, Uffington, on July 3. Told to do 160 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £85 costs.

l Jason Welch, 24, of Stowood Close, Headington, Oxford, admitted taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent in St Mary’s Road, Oxford, on April 9. Given a community order with a 16 week curfew order. Told to pay £270 compensation.

Christopher Anderson, 20, of Manor Crescent, Stanford in the Vale, admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm in Wantage on August 18. Told to do 200 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months, and pay £150 compensation and £85 costs.

Stephen Austin, 33, of Hanney Road, Steventon, admitted stealing lead from Midcounties Cooperative in Howard Street, Oxford, on September 28. Fined £80, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £25 costs.

Andrew Carroll, 26, of Bayswater Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted going equipped for theft in Banbury Road, Oxford, on May 15. Also admitted stealing a bicycle from Walton Street Cycles in Oxford, on May 11. Fined £220, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Martin Maughan, 53, of Leon Close, Oxford, admitted stealing insulation panels from Sers in Osney Lane, Oxford, on September 2. Given an 18-month conditional discharge, and told to pay £80 costs.

Matthew Morris, 34, of Nowell Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting food worth £8.65 from Boots in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on September 11. Sent to prison for 14 days because of previous record.

Mohammed Usman, 24, of Cumberland Road, Oxford, admitted stealing insulation panels from Sers in Osney Lane, Oxford, on September 2. Given a 18-month conditional discharge, and told to pay £50 costs.

Ian Pluright, 40, of Oxford Hill, Witney, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Hill, Witney, on September 29. Had 44 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £85, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Samuel Stewart, 64, of Beckdale Close, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in Queens Avenue, Bicester, on September 12. Had 46 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Jacek Bodenszac, 43, of Ashby Road, Bicester, admitted drink-driving in St Hildas Close, Bicester, on October 1. Had 52 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £280, £28 victims’ surcharge, and £82 costs. Banned from driving for 15 months.

Oliver Bradbury, 19, of Ruskin Walk, Bicester, admitted assault by beating in Nuffield Close, Bicester, on October 1. Fined £160, £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Lucasz Kolodziej, 28, of Hastings Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving, driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Sandford Green on October 1. Told to do 250 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Must pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for three years.

Colin Tower, 46, of Miller Road, Banbury, admitted possession of amphetamine and cannabis with intent to supply in Miller Road, Banbury, on August 15. Fined £75, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.

Kieron Barnes, 21, of Miller Road, Banbury, admitted criminal damage to two double glazed window panels to the value of £256 in Banbury on July 7. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, and told to pay £256 compensation and £80 costs.

Lee Bennett, 33, of Harrowby Road, Banbury, admitted shoplifting meat worth £39.80 from Farm Food in Calthorpe Street, Banbury, on September 10. Sent to prison for 21 days due to previous record.

Adrian Greaves, 41, of Hearthway, Banbury, admitted shoplifting a memory foam mattress worth £129.99 from Poundstretcher in Lockheed Close, Banbury, on October 3. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Reggie Smith, 24, of Sandy Lane, Wootton, Boars Hill, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Besselsleigh Road, Wootton, on July 25. Fined £45, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.

Joanne McClements, 35, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted stealing a bank card in Cromwell Road, Banbury, between April 5 and 7, and also admitted fraud by false representation intending to make a gain of £215.23 on April 6. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation and supervision requirement.
