Flooding: Warning issued for the River Cherwell through Oxford

THE River Cherwell has tonight been put on flood warning through Oxford to its confluence with the River Thames.
Flooding can be expected on the stretch of the river from Cherwell Bridge, near Kidlington, through the city, including parts of Summertown, New Marston and the area around Magdalen Bridge.
Residents are advised to take immediate precautions agsinst flooding of their homes.
