A FORMER teacher of an Oxfordshire school has just admitted 29 sexual offences relating to children.

The 52-year-old, who cannot be named because it will identify his victims, has appeared in court today and will be sentenced on January 17. The Oxford Mail is also not naming his former school to protect the identities of his victims.

He has previously been prosecuted for offences against children and is currently in prison.

Today, at Oxford Crown Court, the man admitted all the charges put to him.

They include 17 charges of sexual assault, 10 of taking indecent photographs, one of possession of indecent photographs and one of voyeurism.

In total there were 10 victims.

The voyeurism charge relates to recording female pupils changing into PE clothing from their uniform between September 1, 2004, and July 31, 2005.

He also admitted two charges of sexual assaulting a child from the previous proceedings when he was jailed that were originally ordered to lie on file.

Judge Gordon Risius was told there were seven other similar offences to take into consideration when the man is sentenced.

He was remanded in custody as a legal technicality as he is still serving his previous sentence.
