  • Lee Cooper, 40, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted shoplifting food worth £9.64 from Co-op in Bury Street, Abingdon, and stealing Creatine powder worth £20.39 from Holland and Barrett in Bury Street, Abingdon, on October 23. Also shoplifted champagne worth £59.98 from Co-op in West St Helen Street, Abingdon, on October 22, and stole two bottles of wine worth £20 from the same store on August 5. Banned from Co-op in West St Helen Street, Abingdon, for 12 months. Told to carry out 160 hours of unpaid work in the next year and ordered to pay total compensation of £100.
  • Piotr Witukiewicz, 33, of Benson Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Gloucester Green, Oxford, on October 3. Given a 12-month conditional discharge, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Norman Gourley, 60, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted stealing two bottles of whiskey worth £25.30 from Waitrose in Abbey Close, Abingdon, on November 17. Given a six-month conditional discharge.
  • Ian Turner, 58, of Elms Drive, Marston, Oxford, admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words and using threatening, abusive, or insulting words likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Headington on October 3. Fined £150, told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Stephen Willot, 69, of Lily Close, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on the A338 in East Hanney on November 11. Had 89 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300, told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 16 months.
  • Patrick Desmond, 54, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a bottle of brandy worth £23.49 from Marks and Spencer in Queen Street, Oxford, on October 26. Fined £25 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • John Mountford, 36, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting toys worth £34.95 from Toys R Us in Botley Road, Oxford, on November 2. Fined £100, told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Santosh Sonkar, 26, of Bath Street, Abingdon, admitted fraud after applying for a driving licence using a counterfeit Romanian identity card in Bath Street, Abingdon, on June 8. Also admitted possession of a false identity card. Discharged conditionally for 12 months.
  • Stuart Wormald, 31, of London Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted drink-driving on the A420 at Besselsleigh on November 3. Had 59 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £400, told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  • Luke Newell, 37, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two joints of gammon worth £64.78 from Waitrose in Witney on December 9. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Grant Caistor, 22, of Kiln Avenue, Chinnor, admitted making off from Shell Service Station in Broadway, Didcot, without paying for £8.51 of fuel on November 19. Fined £120 and told to pay £8.51 compensation, along with a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Paul Johnson, 49, of Oliver Road, Oxford, admitted possession of Class C drug buprenorphine at St Aldate’s Police Station, Oxford, on July 6. Fined £50, told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

BANBURY

  • Tony Doherty, 24, of Alvescot Road, Carterton, admitted drink-driving in Course Hill Lane, Ducklington, on October 6. Had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £300, told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
  • Mark Kipping, 33, of Newland Road, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in South Bar Street, Banbury, on November 17. Fined £100, told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Andrei Parascanu, 25, of Ferndale Road, Banbury, admitted drink-driving in Warwick Road, Banbury, on November 17. Had 55 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without insurance. Fined £700, told to pay a £35 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 15 months.
  • Darren Garnon, 27, of Kennet Close, Bicester, admitted driving while disqualified in Kennet Close, Bicester, on November 16. Told to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Banned from driving for six months.
  • Michael Bagshawe-Wheeler, 72, of Gillett Road, Banbury, convicted of exposing himself intending that someone would see him and be caused alarm or distress in Banbury on April 1. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.
  • Ian Crawford, 48, of Evans Lane, Kidlington, admitted making seven indecent video files of a child and five indecent photographs of a child between August 20, 2011, and September 22, 2011. Also admitted other charges of making 11 indecent images of a child and making three indecent images of a child between August 4, 2011, and October 2, 2011. Community order made and told to take part in sex offender treatment for 120 days. Told to pay £85 costs and sign the sex offenders’ register for five years.
  • Christopher Paxton, 24, of Park End Court, Bodicote, Banbury, admitted shoplifting alcohol worth £24 from the Co-operative store in Banbury on October 17 and stealing a bottle of alcohol worth £16 from the Co-operative in Banbury in October 16. Also stole a bottle of alcohol worth £16 from the Co-operative in Banbury on October 16 and a bottle of alcohol worth £15 from the Co-operative in Middleton Road, Banbury on October 15. Given a 24-month conditional discharge and told to pay total compensation of £66 and £85 costs.
