  • "Successful business people play life in disguise . My point is who do we now trust as a oxford fan with the clubs future . As it looks from the outside the club cannot afford the ground , Kassam would like us to buy it from him and then theres London welsh with bags of ambition, how long will he wait before he sells . And then there's our chairman , who should be the driving force behind our club . As a life long supporter I only have the football clubs interest at heart and now strongly believe we need to look at a plan b as the Kassam stadium is not ours and not likely to be without serious investment and to own together with a rugby club would in my view be difficult to manage on and off the field. Feel powerless as a supporter so what does our chairman exactly want us to do ? How much would it cost to build a 12,000 seater football ground on the outskirts of oxford, I am a carpenter joiner and brother inlaws a electrician we can offer our services for free , if the club can get planning !!!!!!"

Update: Call for U's fans to unite after Kassam sale talks

THE chairman of Oxford United’s supporters group has urged U’s fans to unite following the news that London Welsh are looking into buying the Kassam Stadium.

Mark Sennett said: “This is a call to arms for Oxford United fans so I would urge them to join us and get their voice heard.”

He added he wanted U's fans to oppose the move.

London Welsh moved to Oxford last summer and it has now emerged they are holding talks with the stadium’s owner Firoz Kassam.
