  • "OUFC have had years to get it sorted, London Welsh have 1/2 season & are starting talks. I'm a rugby fan & loving having local rugby but would like to see a better way of sharing but something needs to be done to end Kassam draining the money out of sport. All this time FC fans have been lining his pockets. Also ownership could allow improvements in the pitch for the benefit of OUFC"

Update: Call for U's fans to unite after Kassam sale talks

THE chairman of Oxford United’s supporters group has urged U’s fans to unite following the news that London Welsh are looking into buying the Kassam Stadium.

Mark Sennett said: “This is a call to arms for Oxford United fans so I would urge them to join us and get their voice heard.”

He added he wanted U's fans to oppose the move.

London Welsh moved to Oxford last summer and it has now emerged they are holding talks with the stadium’s owner Firoz Kassam.
