THIS car was stolen on a test drive by a potential buyer.
The crime happened in Sandhills, on Wednesday, after the owner had taken a man for a drive in the black Range Rover.
But when the seller got out of the car to move to the passenger side, the man assaulted him and then drove off in the car, police said.
The incident happened in Merewood Avenue, Headington, at about 7.20pm and the car, registration LX08 YJH, was last seen on the A40 driving towards London.
Police described the thief as white, about 5ft 10ins, slim and in his mid-30s with very short hair. They said he was wearing a dark jacket and blue jeans.
The victim was not injured.
