TWO artists are asking the public to join them in creating a special exhibition being staged to mark Didcot Power Station’s closure.
Artists Rachel Barbaresi and Susanna Round have been commissioned by RWE npower, which runs the power station, and South Oxfordshire District Council, to lead a series of workshops.
These will be followed by an exhibition in May and June at the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot. Ms Barbaresi, 40, from Oxford, said: “We will be talking to different community groups in a series of workshops to gather material, including old photos from retired employees and current staff.
“At the exhibition we will display our own artwork that has been inspired by the workshops.”
