Commonwealth Games gold medallist and Shaftesbury Barnet Harriers’ Abi Oyepitan will be holding a sprint workshop at Allianz Park this Saturday.
The workshop is intended to enhance coaching skills and delivery of sprints training to athletes and will be held on the new indoor track.
All coaches, coach assistants, athletes over the age of 11, including non Shaftesbury members, are welcome to attend the event.
Places are limited therefore contact Deborah Laing at nlathleticsnetwork@hotmail.co.uk to book a spot. Shaftesbury Barnet are one of six clubs who have been selected by the London Borough of Barnet to compete in the London Mini Marathon races on April 21.
A total of 28 Harriers athletes will be in competition at the race, which begins at Old Billingsgate and finishes in the Mall.
Teams from the 33 boroughs of London as well as the nine regions of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales will be competing in the event.
