OXFORD

Catherine Sherrell, 23, of Mill Street, Islip, near Kidlington, admitted driving faster than the 30mph speed limit on Bayswater Road in Oxford on April 6. Fined £300 and told to pay a £30 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.

Steven Stansfield, 49, of Arlington Drive, Marston, Oxford, admitted driving faster than the 50mph speed limit on the southbound A34 near Wytham on March 2, 2012. Fined £60, told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and costs of £65. Licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Bridget O’Leary, 22, of Redbridge Hollow, Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted stealing groceries worth £51.67 from the Co-op at Templars Square, Cowley. Fined £120 and told to pay costs of £100 and a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Jamie Clark, 23, of Bullingdon Prison, near Bicester, admitted four counts of fraud by false representation, namely using a bank card knowing that there were no funds on it, to buy mobile telephones for himself in Reading on July 29, August 5, August 6 and August 7. Also admitted stealing bicycles worth £1,420 and £300 from Didcot Parkway railway station on June 17 and 14. Also admitted stealing a bicycle of unknown value from the Chocolate Theatre Cafe in Thameside, Henley, on July 13 and stealing a mobile phone worth £100 in Oxford on June 24. Also admitted failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence to attend supervision and drug testing on July 25 at Macmillan House probation office. Sentenced to a total of 47 weeks in prison.

Mohamedamine El Barhdadi, 21, of Regent Street, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on March 19. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £15 and costs of £40.

Samuel Morton, 27, of Battle Road, Benson, admitted driving without due care and attention on Oxford Road, Nuneham Courtenay on May 20. Fined £200 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three penalty points.

Naomi Sands, 35, of Buchanan Road, Upper Arncott, near Bicester, admitted driving without insurance on Leach Road, Bicester, on February 2. Fined £225 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £22 and costs of £85.

Emma Woods, 21, of Coombe Hill Crescent, Thame, admitted driving faster than the 30mph speed limit on the B480 at Chiselhampton on March 7. Fined £80 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and costs of £65.

Adrian Brown, 51, of Bourton Close, Witney, admitted stealing superglue, two packs of batteries, two greeting cards, Polyfilla and butter to a value of £21.06 from Sainsbury’s on August 5. He was fined £35 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

Norman Gourley, 61, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing four cans of cider to the value of £4.29 on August 20 from Sainsbury’s in Central Drive, Didcot. Fined £35 and ordered to pay £4.29 compensation and £20 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs. Also admitted stealing a bottle of Malibu rum worth £12 from Sainsbury’s in Central Drive, Didcot. Fined £25.

Mohammed Khan, 28, of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug. Fined £75, ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Paul Akers, 30, of Walterbush Road, Chipping Norton, admitted harassment without violence between July 17 and July 21 after sending a large number of text messages which were likely to cause alarm and distress. Given a community order with a 12-month supervision order and told to do 100 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Darren McAllister, 23, of Laburnum Avenue, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug. Fined £75, ordered to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

BANBURY

Jelroy Constant, 26, of Nuthatch Close, Oxford, admitted two charges of assault by beating in Begbroke on July 6. Community order made with programme and supervision requirements. Also told to do 100 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Restraining order made. Also told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Ben Devonish, 22, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in High Street, Banbury, on August 2. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Dean Guy, 48, of Oxford Close, Kirtlington, admitted drink-driving in Oxford Road, Kidlington, on August 2. Had 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £275, a £28 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Derek Himpson, 30, of Oxford Road, Hampton Poyle, admitted using threatening words or behaviour likely to cause harassment alarm or distress in Manorsfield Road, Bicester, on August 1. Fined £75, a £23 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Also fined £225 after committing the crime while subject to a conditional discharge.

Karrie Knight, 23, of RAF Brize Norton, admitted drink-driving in Ducklington Lane, Witney, on August 2. Had 82 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £340, a £34 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 17 months.

Sara Newton, 30, of Old Park Close, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in George Street, Banbury, on July 19. Give a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

David Johnson, 44, of Kestrel Way, Bicester, admitted criminal damage to clothing, shoes, a picture frame, a kettle lead, a foot massager, phone line and wallpaper in Banbury on March 30. Community order made with three-month curfew. Told to pay £250 compensation and £60 victims’ surcharge.

Edward Kirby, 27, of Britannia Wharf, Banbury, admitted criminal damage after destroying a Peugeot 206 windscreen in Alma Road, Banbury, on May 9. Admitted possession of Class B drug methylmethcathinon at Banbury police station, in Warwick Road, on April 14. Community order made with alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Restraining order also made and told to pay £65 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
