IT was a case of like father, like son as a top comedian, and his dad, called in at a bookshop to meet fans.
TV funny man Jack Whitehall came to Oxford’s Blackwell’s Bookshop on Saturday afternoon to sign copies of the book he has written with his father Michael.
Called Him and Me, it is a comic account of the pair’s relationship.
Fourteen-year-old Elise Engin from Botley, was among fans who queued to meet the Fresh Meat and Bad Education star. She said: “It was absolutely brilliant. I think Jack Whitehall is absolutely hilarious.
“I was quite starstruck because I haven’t really met a lot of famous people before, but Jack was lovely.”
While Jack, a former pupil at Oxford’s Dragon School, is a familiar face on television, his father Michael is also heavily involved in show business, working as an agent for actors such as Colin Firth and Dame Judi Dench.
