A 17-year-old boy has this afternoon appeared in court charged with helping a murder suspect dispose of missing Jayden Parkinson’s body.
The Didcot boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is accused of perverting the course of justice between December 3-10, and appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court shortly after 4pm.
He is charged alongside 22-year-old Ben Blakeley, from Christchurch Road in Reading, who appeared at the court this morning accused of murdering 17-year-old Jayden, disposing of her body and lying to police.
Both suspects have been remanded in custody to appear at Oxford Youth Court and Oxford Crown Court tomorrow morning.
Jayden has been missing since she took the train from Oxford to Didcot on Tuesday, December 3.
