People convicted of offences at magistrates courts in Oxfordshire recently:

ARJAN VLASHI, 29, of Blacksmiths Meadow, Oxford, admitted common assault in Blacksmiths Meadow on September 17. Given a two-year conditional discharge, told to pay £250 compensation, a £15 victims’ surcharge, and £100 costs.

  • GABRIEL CHAMBERLAIN, 40, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted theft of a £60 pedal cycle in Abingdon Road, Oxford, on July 11. Also admitted failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 9. Community order made with drug rehabilitation and supervision requirements. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £30 costs.
  • JAMILA ADAMS, 37, of Havelock Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat worth £19 from Iceland in Templars Square, Cowley, on October 30. Also admitted shoplifting a bottle of vodka and a bottle of Bacardi worth a total of £43.90 from The Co-op in Cowley, Oxford, on December 9. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £25 costs.
  • JOSEPH CURRAN, 22, of High Street, Thame, admitted drink-driving in Priest End, Thame, on November 25. Had 58 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £220, a £22 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Disqualified from driving for 36 months.
  • REANNA KILLICK, 20, of Coverley Road, Oxford, admitted criminal damage worth £2,000 after destroying two phones, two computer monitors, three computer chairs, two keyboards, two computer system units, a speaker system and a desk belonging to Windmill House, Windmill Road, Headington, Oxford, on June 20. Also convicted of assaulting a constable in the execution of his duty in Windmill Road, Oxford, on June 20 and failing to surrender to custody at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on July 5 and November 7. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Also told to do 150 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £325 compensation and £50 costs.
  • THEO WOODS, 23, of Fern Hill Road, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in Kestrel Crescent, Blackbird Leys, Oxford, on June 28. Had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without insurance. Fined £120, £300 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months.
  • SASHA BRANCH, 45, of Kingfisher Green, Oxford, admitted drink-driving in between Towns Road, Oxford, on November 25. Had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Also admitted driving without a licence and without insurance. Fined £450, a £45 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.
  • ANTHONY DUBLIN, 21, of Kelburne Road, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford on September 26. Fined £60, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • MALIK OMAR, 23, of Berry Close, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Briar Way, Oxford, on November 6. Fined £60, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • IAN WYLIE, 36, of Old Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a chocolate gift box and wine worth £8.50 from Waitrose in Old High Street, Headington, Oxford, on November 26. Fined £70, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • ROBERT RICHENS, 23, of Luther Street, Oxford admitted threatening to petrol bomb Simon House in Paradise Street, Oxford, belonging to a2dominion, intending they would fear that the threat would be carried out on November 17. Also admitted criminal damage to a police vehicle in Cowley Road, Oxford on November 18. Community order made with activity and supervision requirements. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge, £50 compensation and £35 costs.
  • MARK SHAW, 48, of The Phelps, Kidlington, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on May 24. Also admitted using racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Oxford on May 24. Fined £135, £20 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs.
  • SHANE LOVERIDGE, 20, of Mably Grove, Wantage, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress in Wantage on October 18. Ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • JEAN QUARTERMAN, 29, of Wadards Meadow, Witney, admitted failing to notify West Oxfordshire District Council of a change in circumstances affecting entitlement to council tax and housing benefit, namely starting work. Fined a total of £150 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge CHARLES BRADLEY, 37, of Windrush, Banbury, admitted driving above the 30mph speed limit on the A44, Manor Road, Woodstock, on April 29. Fined £160, ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs and licence endorsed with three points.
  • SIMON COURT, 51, of Chalfont Road, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Oxford railway station long stay car park on November 14. Had 63 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath over the legal limit of 35mg. Banned from driving for 18 months and fined £800. Ordered to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • KYLE McKENZIE, 21, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted criminally damaging a metal drainpipe at Abingdon Town Football Club on November 23. Fined £100 and ordered to pay £100 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • STEPHEN RUSHMER, 49, of no fixed address, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Magdalen Road, Oxford, on December 7. Fined £50 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • TOMASZ RYBAK, 33, of Didcot High Street, admitted drink driving on Broadway, Didcot, on December 12. Had 127 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Banned from driving for 30 months and given a community order with a 12-week curfew between 9pm and 6am. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • STEPHANIE THOMAS, 29, of Priest Close, Nettlebed, admitted drink driving in Highmoor Cross, Henley-on-Thames, on November 22. Had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Disqualified from holding a driving licence for 20 months.
  • AARON STRANGE, 24, of Wyatt Road, Cutteslowe, Oxford, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in a racially or religiously-aggravated harassment in Worcester Street, Oxford, on August 6. Fined £240 and ordered to pay a £24 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • MOHAMMED HUSSAIN, 27, of Banbury Court, Vineyard, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in High Street, Oxford, on November 24. Had 73 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the legal limit of 35mg. Also admitted possessing cocaine, a Class A drug, at St Aldates police station on the same night. Fined a total of £240, ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs and banned from driving for 20 months.
  • SIMON SALAMAN, 22, of John Mason Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis in Abingdon on October 7. Fined £160 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • PETER BROWN, 28, of Haven Vale, Wantage, admitted using threatening words or behaviour to cause alarm or distress to someone else in Wantage on September 28 and October 18. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.
  • RICHARD EVANS, 42, of Fiennes Road, Banbury, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Banbury Police Station, Warwick Road, Banbury, on November 23. Fined £320 and told to pay a £32 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given a seven-day driving ban.
