MUSEUM volunteer Anne Jones proudly shows off a piece of woodwork at an arts and crafts exhibition.

While the 74-year-old said her favourite items for sale at the Gift to Delight exhibition running at the Vale and Downland Museum in Church Street, Wantage, were the pottery, she enjoyed the woodwork.

The theme of the items for sale changes every week and the exhibition, which runs until January 10, features work from more than 20 artists including woodturner Steve Giles.

Mrs Jones, from Letcombe Regis, said: “There are all sorts of things on show and it is a great place to shop.”

Items on offer already in the exhibition have included wooden sculptures, pottery and woven items.
