Work will begin next week on the final phase of a major development at a North Oxford college.
Lady Margaret Hall will begin work on two new buildings at the front of the college – the Clore Graduate Centre and the Donald Fothergill building. Together they will provide 42 en suite bedrooms for graduate students, seminar and common rooms, and a new Porters’ Lodge.
The college in Norham Gardens said student numbers would remain the same and the scheme would help reduce pressure on Oxford’s housing stock.
Preparatory work will begin on Monday with the main construction work is due to start on Monday, March 25.
