The Sinodun Players offer you the chance to escape to a desert island with the help of a little imagination.

They have been rehearsing to take to the stage of Wallingford’s Corn Exchange with their latest pantomime Robinson Crusoe and The Pirates.

Fiona Prince, 41, Wallingford, who has been with the Sinodun Players since she was 16, said: “It’s going really well. It’s a good traditional panto with lots of traditional laughs. I love playing the part of Nutty Nick and love nothing more than to get rather messy in a slapstick way. It’s good that we do it after Christmas because it gets you through the winter.”

The show which starts on Friday, January 17, runs until Saturday, February 1.

Tickets are £12 and £10 for adults and £6 for under-16s. Contact 01491 825000 or visit www.cornexchange.org.uk/MRWindex.html
