TODAY’S edition is full of stories of misery caused by the escalating floods in Oxfordshire.
We only hope when waters finally subside that experiences stay fresh in people’s minds and lead to a chorus of demands for more prevention work.
Yesterday we reported the Environment Agency is finally set to bid for an ambitious “conveyance channel” to divert waters around the west of the city.
We urge you to remember the problems this onslaught of rainwater has caused and do something about it – because the floods will be back before you know it.
