Billy Biston, 19, of St Mongas, Horsefair, Chipping Norton, admitted driving without due care and attention, without a licence, without insurance, and failing to stop after an accident where damage was caused to another vehicle on Hailey Crescent, Chipping Norton, on August 31. Fined a total of £255 and ordered to pay £300 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Licence endorsed with nine points.

Zak Faulkner, 18, of the Old Coachyard, Witney, admitted possessing 22.83 grams of ketamine, a Class C drug, in Corn Street, Witney, on December 1. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.

Jessica Mckeran, 26, of Vervain Close, Bicester, admitted driving a large goods vehicle faster than 30mph on Buckingham Road, Bicester, on October 15, November 4 and November 5. Fined £190, ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs and licence endorsed with 10 points.

Sebastian Czakanski, 19, of Quarry Road, Headington, admitted assaulting a woman by beating her in Kidlington on September 28, and sending her threatening messages on Facebook on October 9. Given a community order requiring 120 hours unpaid work in the next 12 months. Ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £100 costs. Given a restraining order against the victim until further notice.

Daniel Burgess, 26, of Azalea Walk, Banbury, admitted possessing a kitchen knife in a public place in Longelandes Way, Banbury, on January 12. Fined £110 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Daniel Hanwell, 20, of Marlborough Place, Banbury, admitted stealing two bread roles and a bottle of Disaronno worth £15.80 from Tesco in Bicester on November 13. Told to pay £25 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.

Peter Murphy, 32, of Manor Road, Adderbury, near Banbury, admitted drink-driving on the A4260 in Adderbury on January 11. Had 117 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 24-month driving ban and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Phillip Barker, 57, of Waverley Close, Kings Sutton, near Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage worth £250 to a vehicle wing mirror in George Street, Banbury, on March 4. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £75 compensation and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

David Holland, 44, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted causing criminal damage to a window in Bretch Hill, Banbury, on December 14. Also convicted of stealing four medical-grade oxygen cylinders during a non-domestic burglary in West Bar Street, Banbury, on October 12. Community order made with 240-hour unpaid work requirement. Linda McAleer, 43, of Castle Street, Wallingford, admitted speeding in Wallingford Road, Shillingford, on August 5, at a speed exceeding the 30mph speed limit. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six points on driving licence.

Martin Preedy, 46, of Masefield Road, Banbury, admitted breaching the requirements of a suspended sentence made on November 4 for three counts of animal cruelty by not carrying out unpaid work as instructed on November 12. Suspended sentence for eight weeks custody suspended for 13 months made more onerous by adding one month for the breach.

Desmond Jones, 30, of Ashhurst Way, Oxford, admitted stealing packs of meat and ready meals from the Co-op shop in Rose Hill, Oxford, on January 28.
