FLOODING: Narrowboat rescued

Firefighters used pumps to help stop a narrow boat from sinking in the floods on Sunday night.

Crews were called to the boat on the River Thames off Wilsham Road in Abingdon at about 7pm and pumped water out.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service left the scene two hours later.
