A SIX-YEAR-OLD boy has died in hospital 10 days after a road accident.
The boy, from Faringdon, died at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford on Saturday. He has not yet been named.
He was injured in a collision with a white Audi Q5 at about 8.20am on Wednesday, February 5, in Faringdon Road, Watchfield, seconds after getting off a bus.
The car stopped at the scene.
Police have made a fresh appeal for witnesses to the crash to contact them.
Sgt Ashley Hannibal, from Thames Valley Police’s road death investigation team, said: “Sadly this child has now died and I am appealing for anyone who saw the collision and anyone who saw the events directly leading up to the collision to come forward.
“There were a number of people on the bus in the vicinity who may have witnessed the incident.
“Perhaps they did not release how serious it was at the time and I ask that they now come forward and speak to an officer about what they saw.”
Anyone with information should call Sgt Hannibal on 101.
