FOLLOWING the success of the GB Winter Olympic team in Sochi, children in Wallingford were inspired by the GB skeleton gold medallist Lizzy Yarnold in an arts and crafts session.

The youngsters – including St John’s School pupil Meera Clark and her younger brother Rohan, six – re-created scenes of the winter sports with the help of pipe-cleaners, glue and string at a session in Wallingford Library on the High Street. The siblings from Wallingford went along with their mother, Shreeti Clark.

“We all really enjoyed it’’, she said.
