THE woman injured in this morning's crash in Abingdon has died.
Thames Valley Police has said the woman was seriously injured after her bike and a silver Ford Escort collided in Preston Road.
A spokesman has just confirmed the woman died at the John Radcliffe Hospital from her injuries.
He said she was 68-years-old and from the Abingdon area.
An air ambulance attended the scene and landed in the field of nearby Thameside School but the woman was taken to hospital by a conventional road ambulance.
Police officers say Preston Road is currently closed between Kensington Close and Cotman Close and is likely to remain so for several hours.
Updates will be posted automatically on the road closure on our Live Traffic Service.
