People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts in Oxfordshire recently:

  • Matthew Dobbs, 24, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing six packs of chocolate worth £16.80 from Sainsbury’s in the Westgate Shopping Centre, Oxford, on January 23. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Dawid Trezeciak, 22, of Gainsborough Green, Abingdon, admitted drink driving in Old Abingdon Road, Oxford, on January 29. Had 80 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 20-month driving ban with a £250 fine, £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Shanai Wynter, 20, of Hadland Road, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Grenoble Road, Oxford, on January 19. Fined £85 with a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Robin Humrash, 24, of Territorial Way, Headington, Oxford, admitted failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances which would affect his entitlement to job seekers allowance between October 22, 2012, and July 13 last year. Fined £258 with a £25 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Alisdair Cummings, 43, of St John’s Close, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Lower Broadway, Didcot, on January 31. Had 53 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a 12-month driving ban and told to pay a £500 fine. Also told to pay a £50 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Carl Hatch, 37, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing five pencil cases worth £46.50 from The Alice Shop, St Aldate’s, Oxford, on October 10, and possessing diazepam and buprenophine, both Class C drugs, at the John Radcliffe Hospital on January 15. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £46.50 compensation.
  • Sian Andrews, 22, of Starnham Road, Ducklington, admitted assault by beating in Starnham Road, Ducklington, on January 20. Given a 12-month conditional discharge. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Tayaub Hussain, 19, of Queens Road, Banbury admitted possession of Class B drug cannabis at St Mary’s Centre, Horse Fair, Banbury, on December 19. Fined £100, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £45 costs.
  • Josh Lock, 19, of Thorney Leys, Witney admitted assault by beating at Izi wine bar in Market Square, Witney, on August 17. Fined £350, £150 compensation, a £35 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Andrew Wall, 32, of Stocks Lane, Carterton, admitted assault by beating in Stocks Lane, Carterton, on January 25. Fined £210, a £21 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Damian Skwara, 30, of Causeway, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in Banbury, on January 4. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Also told to do 240 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Restraining order also made. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Anna Logue, 35, of Shipton Road, Ascott-under-Wychwood, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver suspected of an offence at Banbury between May 8 and June 5. Fined £125, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £75 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Timothy Jenkins, 36, of Lyneham Road, Bicester, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver suspected of an offence at Banbury between March 25 and April 22. Fined £525, a £53 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  • Laurence Brown, 33, of Bartlemas Road, Oxford, admitted possession of Class C drug ketamine in Oxford on December 20. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Daniel Hanwell, 20, of Marlborough Place, Banbury, admitted shoplifting DVDs worth £124 from Tesco in Lockheed Close, Banbury, on February 3. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Lisa Terry, 39, of Mackley Close, Deddington, admitted shoplifting a pork meat joint worth £6.70 from Co-op in Mewburn Road, Banbury on April 1. Given an absolute discharge.
  • Lee Bromley, 37, of Thyme Close, Banbury, admitted shoplifting three jars of coffee worth £8.85 from Farm Food Ltd in Banbury on December 9. Also admitted dishonestly using electricity without due authority in Banbury between January 23 and January 30. Fined a total of £100, £5 compensation, a £20 victims’ surcharge, and £50 costs.
  • Nicholas Brain, 22, of Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney, near Bicester, admitted being drunk in public on Sheep Street, Bicester, on January 31. Fined £325 and ordered to pay a £33 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Christopher Gibbs, 32, of Ray Road, Bicester, admitted drink driving on St Johns Street, Bicester, on February 1. Had 52 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the legal limit of 35 mg. Fined £300 with a £30 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months.
  • Jonathan Jaco, 35, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted stealing perfume worth £45 from Debenhams, Banbury, on January 27, and failing to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on February 12. Fined £120 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.
  • Adrian Fannon, 35, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted stealing meat worth £33.46 from Co-op on Mewburn Road, Banbury, on January 5. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £17 compensation and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Rebecca Jamieson, 23, of Queen’s Avenue, Kidlington, admitted handling stolen car number plates worth belonging to two victims, worth a total of £70 in Bicester and Oxford between April 12 and 26. Also admitted failing to answer bail at Banbury Magistrates’ Court on September 25 and at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on January 24. Given a community order with a drug rehabilitation requirement and a 12-month supervision requirement. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • Anthony Dallimore, 50, of Pinnocks Way, Botley, admitted speeding over the 30mph limit on the A415 at Culham near Abingdon on August 19. Fined £235 with a £24 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
  • Diane Davidson, 49, of Oak Avenue, Radley, admitted breaking the 30mph speed limit on the A338 at East Hanney near Wantage on July 27. Fined £100 with a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  • Lisa Hale, 37, of Lesparre Close, Drayton, near Abingdon, admitted breaking the 40mph speed restriction through roadworks on the A40 at Great Milton on August 8. Fined £610 with a £61 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
