THREE road accidents across the county caused delays for morning commuters yesterday.

There was a two-car crash on the A34 northbound near East Ilsley at about 8am.

Police said no one was hurt but one lane was blocked, causing severe delays.

In Upper Heyford at about 7.39am a motorcycle was involved in a collision on the junction of Somerton Road and Camp Road. The incident resulted in the road remaining blocked for several hours.

A Ford Fiesta and Fiat Punto were also in collision at about 7.07am, which caused the A41 to be partially blocked in both directions between Bicester Little Chef roundabout and the London Road junction.

One man was taken to hospital.
