LEO Williams had a peer into the future at the Oxfordshire Science Festival at the weekend.
The Abingdon resident called in at the town’s Market Square on Saturday to see the ATOM! fair, one of the closing events of this year’s festival.
He had a chance to look at some insects through a microscope at the Royal Microscope Society’s stall.
The 10-year-old, pictured, said: “The insects looked really cool through the microscope because you could see all their hairs.
“We went around most of the stalls and did all the experiments.
“I like science, particularly learning about gravity and the planets.”
The festival, which finished on Sunday after two weeks, is now in its sixth year and features top names from the world of science, including physicists Jim Al-Khalili and Frank Close.
