EASTER holidays got into full swing over the weekend as children hunted for hidden treasures.

Waterperry Gardens, near Wheatley, and Albert Park in Abingdon hosted activities at the start of the school holiday.

At Albert Park events included an egg-and-spoon race, tug-of-war, football and a bunny hunt.

The event, at Abingdon Vineyard Church, has taken place each Easter for six years.

Families at Waterperry Gardens could search for Easter rabbits hidden in the grounds and if eight were found, children could claim a chocolate surprise.
