SACKED Miss Oxfordshire contestant, Georgia Eden, said she has received a personal message of support from comedian David Walliams.

Miss Eden, 22, from Abingdon, was kicked out of the contest for tweeting an “implied topless” photo of herself for breast cancer awareness campaign #coppafeel.

Since her story was revealed in the Oxford Mail it has been picked up by the New York Daily News, International Business Times and Fashion Times.

Miss Eden said she was also asked to appear on TV show Loose Women, but claimed the booking was postponed because Miss England – organisers of the Miss Oxfordshire competition – refused to comment.

Miss Eden, a professional model for London agency Mode, said: “The amount of support has been overwhelming, from people all over the world. I even had David Walliams follow me on Twitter, and he sent me a private message saying he read the article and I had his support 100 per cent.

“There have been a few negative comments, but that is to be expected.”

The Dart Road resident said she had turned down one national newspaper’s offer to do a topless photoshoot.

She said: “If I had done that everyone would have said ‘all she did it for was the publicity’, and that’s not the career I want.”

Neither Miss England or Coppafeel have commented.
