People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts in Oxfordshire recently:

  • Daniel Foulks, 28, of Whitecross, near Abingdon, was convicted of driving at a speed in excess of the 30mph speed limit in Mabley Way, Wantage, on October 10. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given five points on driving licence.
  • Imre Harnos, 28, of Enstone, near Chipping Norton, admitted driving at a speed in excess of the 30mph speed limit in Oxford Road, Enstone, near Chipping Norton, on October 15. Fined £135 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given six points on driving licence.
  • Colin Blake, 30, of Queensway, Didcot, admitted using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm, or distress in Didcot on March 28. Exclusion order made banning him from Broadways pub in Broadway, Didcot, for 12 months. Fined £90, £2 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
  • Luke Hunt, 26, of Mereland Road, Didcot, admitted possession of Class A drug cocaine in Broadway, Didcot, on March 27. Community order made and told to do 80 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Mark Roche, 35, of Wessex Close, Faringdon, admitted drink-driving in Wessex Close, Faringdon on March 27. Had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £460, a £46 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.
  • Brian Stuart, 54, of Herschel Crescent, Oxford, admitted shoplifting four bunches of flowers worth £23.96 from Stokes Grocers in Templars Square Shopping Centre, Cowley, on February 14. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £12 compensation and a £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Ou Wang, 58, of Farndon Court, Woodstock Road, Oxford admitted shoplifting a bag worth £169 from Pod in High Street, Oxford, on November 2. Also stole two saucepans worth £35 from Objects of Use in Market Street, Oxford, on November 1. Community order made with activity and supervision requirements. Told to pay £35 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.
  • Carl Jeffries, 29, of Kiln Lane, Drayton, near Abingdon, admitted using a mobile phone while driving in Cowley Road, Oxford, on October 28. Fined £160 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Michael Mulford, 51, of Lincombe Lane, Boars Hill, near Oxford, admitted driving at a speed in excess of the 70mph speed limit on the M4 near Newbury in Berkshire on October 21. Fined £1,000 and told to pay a £100 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given five points on driving licence.
  • Robert Nevers, 54, of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, admitted using a mobile phone while driving in Oxpens Road, Oxford, on October 21. Fined £70 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given three points on driving licence.
  • Andrew Robinson, 49, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cowley Marsh, Cowley, Oxford, on August 16. Fined £50 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  • Stacey Daniels, 32, of Wessex Road, Didcot, admitted stealing meat from the Co-op in Didcot on March 1, meat from the Co-op in Didcot on October 20, meat from the Co-op in Abingdon on December 24, six bottles of Cava worth £92.94 from Marks and Spencer in Milton Heights, near Didcot, on December 26, perfume worth £79 from Lloyds Chemist in Market Place, Wallingford, on March 7, and meat worth £170.60 from the BP Garage in Wantage Road, Didcot, on March 22. Given a four-month prison sentence because of her previous convictions for similar matters and her failure to comply with previous court orders.
  • Symone Andrews, 28, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a hairdryer worth £39.99 from Superdrug in Market Street, Oxford, on March 5. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge made on November 25 by Oxford Magistrates’ Court for theft. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and nine-month supervision requirement. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Mohammad Zaman, 29, of no fixed address, was convicted of driving without insurance on Reading Road, Winnersh, on September 20. Fined £600 and ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
  • Ejaz Ahmed, 59, of Iffley Road, Iffley, admitted failing to give information identifying a driver suspected of a driving offence to Thames Valley Police between August 2 and August 30. Fined £110 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs. Banned from driving for six months.
  • Leon Caton, 22, of Harlequin Way, Banbury, admitted breaching a community order made by Oxfordshire Magistrates’ Court on October 10 for assaulting a woman by beating her, by failing to attend an unpaid work session on March 18. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months, and ordered to carry out 140 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 weeks.
  • Susan O’Leary, 53, of Bramble Bank, Madley Park, Witney, admitted failing without reasonable excuse to comply with the requirement of a community order given by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on April 10 last year by failing to attend a Thinking Ahead for Women Session on January 31 this year. Community order varied to include a supervision requirement for three months.
  • Amy Willey, 30, Red Poll Close, Banbury, admitted failing to comply with a community order given by Banbury Magistrates’ Court on January 17 by failing to attend a probation meeting. Order varied to include drug rehabilitation for seven months.
  • Ingeburg Coulson, 85, of The Croft, Harwell, near Didcot, admitted speeding over the 30mph limit on Ardley Road, Middleton Stoney, on September 2. Fined £155 and ordered to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge, £65 costs and licence endorsed with five points.
  • Ben Houghton, 41, of Partridge Walk, Oxford, admitted possessing heroin, a Class A drug, cocaine, also a Class A drug, and cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford on February 19. Given a community order requiring participation in education, training and employment activity for five days and drug rehabilitation treatment for six month. Also ordered to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge.
