HERE’S your chance to spring into summer with school half-term holiday fun at Beaulieu in the heart of the New Forest.

The Herald has teamed up with the Beaulieu visitor attraction in Hampshire to offer readers the chance to win six family tickets, worth £55 each.

From May 24 to June 1, there will be special activities for all the family as well as Beaulieu’s usual attractions.

Children can have fun on some giant games in the grounds, taking on their friends at draughts, looking for a checkmate on the chess board or testing their logic at Connect Four.

Budding motorists can clamber into the driving seat on Dipstick’s Driving Circuit, while younger visitors can get physical on the Mini Motor PlayTrail with its veteran bus climbing frame, swings and Little Tykes ride-on cars.

There’s a fun game to be enjoyed with the costumed monk in Beaulieu Abbey to find out how medieval arches were built and discover how herbs were used in medicines in monastic times.

Motoring fans, both young and old, will enjoy visiting the National Motor Museum, where they can see the new Motorcycle Story exhibition, taking you on a journey through motorcycling history with displays covering road safety, British youth culture of the 1950s and 1960s and a wide range of racing disciplines.

Another new attraction this year is the For Britain & For The Hell Of It multi-media display featuring the museum’s iconic land speed record cars. The World of Top Gear exhibition has also been updated and features vehicles from the television show.

Visitors can also take trips around the grounds on the high-level monorail or on an open-top bus and visit Palace House, home of the Montagu family since 1538.

If you’re a fan of trucks, you’ll want to visit on May 25 or 26 when Beaulieu’s parkland plays host to Truckmania, featuring car-crushing displays by the amazing Bigfoot monster truck and the chance to see the famous Transformers truck, Optimus Prime.
