A CHIPPING Norton family moved home free of charge after the removal company worked out that they were its millionth customers.

Philippa and Simon Worne, both 44, were moving from Chipping Norton to Great Missenden, in Buckinghamshire, and booked Abingdon removal firm Robinsons, which was founded in 1895.

Staff celebrated by laying on party poppers and balloons for the family and waived the £2,500 bill for the move.

Mrs Worne, mother to Rufus, 11, and two-year-old twins Max and Ben, said: “It was a fantastic surprise to find out that we would be receiving our move for free.”
