The county’s hospital authority missed an accident and emergency waiting standard in the seven days to May 18, latest figures show. Of the 2,522 who attended Oxford’s John Radcliffe and Banbury’s Horton General hospitals, 229 waited more than four hours to be discharged, admitted or transferred.
This means 90.9 per cent were seen within four hours, below a national standard of 95 per cent.
