  1. Marcin Buczak, 37, of Ashhurst Way, Oxford, admitted destroying a mirror worth £10 in Ashhurst Way, Oxford, on May 16. Given an absolute discharge. Told to pay £85 costs.
  2. Peter Johnson, 56, of Dirac Place, Didcot, convicted of assault by beating in Station Road, Didcot, on October 12. Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Restraining order made. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £300 costs.
  3. Gary Dallimore, 34, of Haydon Road, Didcot, convicted of using a vehicle without insurance in Haydon Road, Didcot, on August 6. Fined £600 and told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with six points.
  4. Dr Stephen Hughes, 51, of Millway Close, Oxford, admitted speeding at 57mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 at Wytham on October 12. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  5. Malcolm Jeffs, 46, of Druids Walk, Chinnor, admitted speeding at 68mph in a 60mph zone in Thame Road, Chinnor, on November 27. Fined £100 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  6. Mary McKnight, 50, of Victoria Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 35mph in a 30mph zone in Oxford Road, Chipping Norton, on October 18. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Licence endorsed with three points.
  7. Mohammed Sadiq, 42, of Westbury Crescent, Oxford, admitted speeding at 57mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 at Wytham on September 20. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Licence endorsed with three points.
  8. Jordan Bye, 20, of High Street, Kidlington, admitted speeding at 59mph in a 50mph zone on the A34 at Wytham on October 12. Fined £80 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge. Licence endorsed with three points.
  9. Robin Clarke, 21, of Barton Village Road, Oxford, admitted speeding at 49mph in a 30mph zone in Bayswater Road, Oxford, on November 27. Told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.

 

Banbury magistrates:

  1. Pladdys Technology Services, of York Road, West Hagbourne, Didcot, convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver alleged to have been guilty of an offence between August 5 and September 2. Fined £750, told to pay a £75 victims' surcharge and £80 costs.
  2. Gary McFarlane, 21, of Evenlode, Banbury, admitted assault in Bridge Street, Banbury, on January 1. Community order made with alcohol treatment and supervision requirements. Told to pay £50 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  3. Damian Stankiewicz, 33, of Oxford Road, Bodicote, admitted failing to comply with an order by a PC to leave High Street, Banbury, and not return within 24 hours on May 17 and again on May 18. Fined a total of £40 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
  4. Kenny Wray, 23, of Oxford Road, Kidlington, admitted drink driving in an Audi A4 in Begbroke Crescent, Begbroke, on May 17. Had 77 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 21 months.
  5. Thomas Parry, 21, of Beckdale Close, Bicester, admitted sending by public communication network a series of messages that were grossly offensive or of a menacing character in Bicester on April 16. Given a two-year conditional discharge and a restraining order made. Told to pay a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  6. John-Paul Gallagher, 34, of Middleton Road, Bucknell, admitted being concerned in the fraudulent evasion of a prohibition on the importation of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, in Middleton Road, Bicester, between August 1 and August 12. Also admitted theft by employee after stealing 12 watches worth a total of £13,105 from Tag Heuer in Pingle Drive, Bicester, between December 1, 2006, and December 23, 2008. Two other offences taken into consideration. Community order made and told to do 300 hours of unpaid community work within the next 12 months. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  7. Julie Pitts, 50, of Newells Close, Stadhampton, admitted speeding at 52mph in a 30mph zone in Headington Road, Oxford, on October 8. Fined £225 and told to pay a £26 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with six penalty points.
  8. Simon Valters, 34, of Folly View Road, Faringdon, convicted of driving without a licence in Botley Road, Oxford, on October 30. Fined £200 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Licence endorsed with four points.
  9. Mouzamuddin Mohammed, 31, of Bertie Place, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a breath specimen for analysis at Banbury Police Station on May 18. Fined £160 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 14 months.
  10. Brian Kraus, 26, of Swallow Close, Bicester, admitted stealing a laptop and headphones worth £250 from The Hawthorns in Banbury on January 25. Also admitted stealing a mobile phone from Jubilee Court, Banbury, on February 12. Community order made with a seven-week curfew order. Told to pay £250 compensation, a £60 victims’ surcharge, and £100 costs.
  11. Mark Godfrey, 50, of Northampton Road, Weston-on-the-Green, admitted drink-driving in Bainton Road, Hethe, on May 21. Had 93 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Community order made and told to do 50 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay a £60 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 23 months.
  12. Marc Stringer, 35, of Islip Road, Bletchingdon, admitted drink-driving in Beckley on April 12. Had 109 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of blood, above the legal limit of 80 micrograms. Fined £400 and told to pay a £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.
  13. Daniel Dudley, 35, of Station Road, Bampton, admitted entering a dwelling in Lavender Square, Bampton, as a trespasser and stealing a laptop computer and two bottles on wine worth a total of £540 on March 24. Given a four-month prison sentence suspended for two years. Given an alcohol treatment and supervision order. Told to pay an £80 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  14. Darren Evans, 37, of Hamilton Close, Bicester, admitted failing to answer bail as soon as possible after failing without reasonable excuse to surrender at Banbury Police Station on February 11. Fined £30 and told to pay a £20 victims’ surcharge.
