JAYDEN PARKINSON'S key worker this afternoon told a jury at Oxford Crown Court the teenager became isolated because what she saw as murder accused Ben Blakeley's 'crontrolling' behaviour.

Hannah Ryan was the first witness to give evdience at the trial at Oxford Crown Court over the death of Jayden.

The 17-year-old's body was discovered in the grave of Blakeley's uncle Alan Kennedy on December 18 last year.

Blakeley, 22, denies murder but admits manslaughter.

Ms Ryan, a staff member at the One Foot Forward hostel in iffley Road, Oxford, where Jayden was living, said the teenager never came out of her room.

She told the jury: "Jayden said over time she had lost all her friends, both male and female, and had been left with no friends.

"She said that Ben had been the cause of her falling out with all her friends."

And when the relationship ended on November 21 last year she said Jayden's mood completely changed.

The witness said:  "She was just really happy, playing around with the others and having fun."

Blakeley, of Christchurch Road in Reading, has admitted perverting the course of justice, as has a 17-year-old fellow defendant who cannot be named because of his age.

The youth, however, denies preventing a lawful burial.
