BEN BLAKELEY, accused of murdering Jayden Parkison, launched foul-mouthed abuse at the prosecutor as he said Oxford Crown Court this afternoon it should "end the trial today" and he will "accept the years" for his manslaughter charge.
Richard Latham, QC, told Blakeley this afternoon that he was a "cold, calculating and ruthless individual" who had "cunningly" plotted how to bury 17-year-old Jayden Parkinson's body in a Didcot graveyard.
After Mr Latham put it to Blakeley that he had lied to police about Jayden's whereabouts while she was "rotting in the ground", the 22-year-old turned on the prosecutor, calling him a "c**t" and saying "f*ck you" repeatedly.
Judge Patrick Eccles adjourned the case for five minutes to allow Blakeley to calm down.
Earlier, his co-accused broke down in tears as he heard he had been just metres from Jayden Parkinson's body while helping dig her grave.
Blakeley said he persuaded the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to help him dig a temporary grave in open countryside near east Hagbourne days after 17-year-old Jayden died.
Blakeley, 22, of Christchurch Road, Reading, denies mudering Jayden in the field, but admits manslaughter by causing pressure to her neck.
The 17-year-old co-defendant admits perverting the course of justice but denies preventing a lawful burial.
Blakeley said that after realising Jayden was dead on the night of December 3, Blakeley called the teenager and asked him to fetch him some clean clothes.
He then went home and left Jayden's body under some branches.
Three days later, Blakeley returned to the site with his co-defendant and asked him to help dig a hole in the field to bury "some weapons", he said.
Unbeknownst to the teenager, while he was digging the hole he was metres from Jayden's hidden body, Blakeley added.
The trial continues.
