THIS little scuba sweetie explored an underwater world in woodland near Didcot.

Berks, Bucks and Ox Wildlife Trust transformed its Sutton Courtenay nature reserve into an aquatic adventure by putting fish, crabs and lobsters in trees.

Youngsters were told the story of a little herring who went exploring, then they followed in his footsteps, spotting deep-water denizens along the way.

Seren Shepherd-Loxton, 22 months old, from Didcot, had a great time, according to her dad Darren.

Mr Shepherd-Loxton, 38, said: “The herring thinks he is a special herring and doesn’t want to get eaten, but he ends up on someone’s plate.

“Seren was wearing goggles to be able to see into the trees where there were fish and turtles and crabs.

“It’s great to just explore the woods.”
