IT was all aboard at a model railway show in Didcot this weekend as youngsters got up close to electric trains.
The Abingdon and District Model Railway Club put on a show of their displays in Didcot Town Hall on Saturday.
Ian Riddick, 44, from Didcot, took his son Ethan to see the trains after spotting signs for the event at the library.
Ethan, three, said: “I love trains. They are my favourite thing.”

Mr Riddick added: “He is really into trains. He watches model trains on YouTube.”
Six-year-old Rowan Hunt, from Didcot, also visited.
The All Saints CofE Primary School pupil said: “We looked at the trains. I had a nice time.”
One of the most popular exhibits was a scale model of Sodor Island, the fictional home of children’s favourite Thomas the Tank Engine.
