PARENTS made the most of the half-term Halloween festivities at Notcutts Garden Centre in Nuneham Courtenay.

The day of scary fun for children included face painting, witch-hat making and, for the adventurous, a witch hunt.

Evie Merrett, three, from Cowley visited the store with her mum Laura and got a spooky makeover.

She said: “I made a witch hat with paper and paints. I had lots of fun doing all the Halloween things.”

The spooky witch hunt saw children scouring the eeriest corners of the store to hunt down six wicked witches.
