A MAN in his 70s died in a crash on the M40 near Oxford yesterday.
At about 3pm yesterday officers were called to a collision northbound between Junction 8a and 9, involving a Volvo X90.

The motorway was closed for collision investigation work to be carried out and was reopened at 5.45pm.
Police said the man was declared dead at the scene and a woman in her 70s was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital by air ambulance with serious injuries.
