Sir, Today I have received a copy of the Liberal Northcourt Focus. Firstly, let me say I vote for Dr Evan Harris because, as a man and irrespective of political preference, he is number one.
However, I now refer to the views of Duncan Brown, town councillor. Quote: "Abingdon is a vibrant, bustling town."
Dictionary explanations: Vibrant - thrilling with action etc. Bustling - exciting activity.
Let's be honest, take away the charity shops (good cause), banks, building societies and estate agents, what's left?
I have lived in Abingdon since 1948 (Royal Navy) and to be honest it has gradually declined. I'm afraid Mr Brown must wear rose-tinted spectacles.
