NOMINATIONS for the 2015 Oxfordshire Sports Awards continue to flood in.

This year’s event – the tenth – is on Friday, November 27, at the Kassam Stadium.

But it's not too late to get your entry in, whether they are individuals, clubs, coaches or volunteers.

Last year, Commonwealth Games gold-medal winner Dan Rivers was crowned sportsman of the year, while Janette Cardy, who battled back from a stroke, lifted gold in the European Aquathlon Championships to take the sportswoman honour.

As well as the 11 regular awards, this year there are two new categories, the sports development project of the year and sporting school of the year.

Nominations close at midday on Friday, October 9, and can be made by visiting oxspa.co.uk or by contacting Zoe O’Neill on 01865 252676.

There are still sponsorship opportunities available for various categories.
