The sation needs some stability and a new Breakfast presenter, Shabina Akhtar is just not experienced enough for such a high profile broadcast.

Totally agree with Johns comments.

The Station does need some stability,and quality presenters.The curremt daytime line up is getting better,but the Breakfast Programme,the most important of the day is a total joke.

After having quality Braodcasters,such as Anned Diamond,and Sybil Ruscoe,who has thankfully returned to the station,we now have to suffer "zoo" radio at breakfast time.If I want that,which I don't ,then FOX Fm do exactley the same.The early brekafast slot is the same too.Tim Bearder WAS NOT funny,and the woman on there now,just plays music,as opposed to information,chat and the odd record,which most of us want at that time of the day.

Sort it out out Oxford,you can get yourself back to where you belong,and it wont take much.Ask the audience what WE want to hear,not what some trendy young BBC Executive THINKS we want to hear.

You need to look at Early Breakfast,and the breakfast slots,urgently.The rest of the daytime output,is in my voew,at the present time, fine.

I wrote to oxford months ago about the dearth of quality presenters and got no reply

We tuned in to 3 Counties because we were fed up with Radio Oxford, and thats no better.

I thought i would wait before i comment, but enough is enought!!

What can you say about shabina akthar that is good, well, nothing.

But it tells me a lot about someone who keeps on telling us that she is Muslim, like that makes things better, but as she does, well, that;s a vote for facism, and then she tells us how opinionated she is, well, isn't that for us to judge, but can she take it back, probably not. She has some qualities, that would be great on hospital radio, she is amateurish.

However, i do not blame her, what needs changing is the BBC management, they are at very best inept!!

I'm afraid that is exactly what I want at that time of day . I want the weather , the news and the traffic interspersed with records . I DON'T want ongoing inane chatter from some dim wit of a presenter and endless phone-ins from listeners who love the sound of their own voice.
