A SMORGASBOARD of colours filled the Cornerstone Arts Centre in Didcot as Vicky Vergou taught artists her painting techniques.
The series of watercolour workshops run until December 3 and give people the opportunity to find out more about the artistic technique.
The classes are open to a mixture of experienced painters and complete beginners and run from 10.30am to midday on Thursdays.
Eileen Bracken, from Didcot, was one of those who has got involved. She said: “The classes are really good.
“I do paint anyway but I hoped that particular group could teach me something different because I normally do botanical illustration.
“I wanted to do something sort of free-flowing.
“The botanical illustrations are watercolour so it is the same medium but it is slightly different.
“We are about halfway through the course and I have learned colour mixing and how to do washes.
“Washes are about making sure that the paint is put on the canvas evenly,” she said.
