TRAINS between Oxford and London Paddington will be delayed until 4pm after a person was struck on the line near Ealing Broadway.
Great Western Railway said a train struck the person on the tracks at about 11.30am.
The line reopened at about 1.45pm but delays are expected to continue until 4pm.
Great Western Railway passengers can use their tickets on Chiltern Railways, CrossCountry and London Underground services on reasonable routes.
Network Rail said on Twitter that it was working with British Transport Police and other emergency services folowing the incident.
