Snow could fall in the county on Saturday morning, but there is more wet weather expected for the rest of the weekend.

The Met Office has predicted that snow could fall on high ground in Oxfordshire between 9am and 12pm on Saturday, although it is not likely to settle.

Spokesman Alex Burkill said: "At the moment we are expecting to see areas of wet weather pushing in from the west on Saturday, and as this moves in we could see more wintry conditions such as snow.

"We are likely to see some rain as well, and this should come in later in the day."
